Knockout Cash Home Buyers ("we", "us") buys houses directly from owners in Alberta. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian and Alberta privacy law.
What we collect
- Information you give us in the offer form: the property address, your name, your phone number and the main reason you're considering a sale. Optionally: property type, who occupies it, its general condition, your preferred timeline and any notes you choose to add.
- Information about your visit: the page you landed on, the website that referred you and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed. We keep these only to understand which sources lead to inquiries.
- Phone and email contact: whatever you share when you call or email us.
Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, contact you about your property, prepare and discuss a potential offer, and understand which parts of our website and marketing lead to genuine inquiries. We collect only what we need for those purposes.
We contact you about the inquiry you made, by phone, text or email. We don't add you to marketing lists without asking you first, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Who handles it
Your information is transmitted over an encrypted connection. It is stored with the service providers that run this website and its form (our hosting and form-handling provider, Netlify) and, where enabled, an email delivery provider that sends us a notification of your inquiry. They process it only to provide those services to us. We don't sell your personal information.
Analytics
We measure events such as button clicks and form completions to improve the site. Those measurements never include your name, phone number, address or anything you type into the form. If we turn on a third-party analytics service, it will use cookies or similar technologies only for that measurement.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your inquiry and any resulting transaction, and as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent to be contacted or ask us to delete it. Email getcash@kocashhomebuyers.com or call (780) 907-7880.
